Bon Phum

Bon Phum was an important festival which honours the water, land and air to encourage a great rice harvest.  It begins at the start of the harvest, unusually January and continues until Khmer New Year in April.  Unfortunately this festival was lost in the dark years of the late twentieth century.

Jaya Catering and Events Services have revived this lost remnant of Khmer culture in Chreav village, a popular eco-tourism location with Bon Dar Lin, the festival of the village, the party that culminates the Bon Phum festival.   Now non Khmer can attend, learn about our ancient culture and have a night of fun and feasting.

This night will celebrate Khmer culture with a range of traditional activities, performance and of course, dancing. The most delicious feast of Khmer cuisine will be prepared for your dining pleasure!
